Ice Rink Woolly Hat Knitting Competition!

To celebrate our fifth birthday, the Royal Pavilion Ice Rink is launching a woolly hat knitting competition for all those craft lovers out there. This is your chance to create the perfect woolly hat for our dashing ice marshalls to wear when the ice rink opens on the 8th November until 18th January.

Our guest judge and knitting expert is Peter Allinson, famed in the North Laine for his fantastical knitting creations, including a complete replica of the Royal Pavilion palace (displayed in his shop windows at Temptation and Whirligig)!!

Peter and our marshalls will be choosing the best hats, which will be modelled on ice before being auctioned to raise funds for charity.

The winner will not only receive fame, but can choose from a skating season ticket, a meal for two at the Bar & Kitchen with skating tickets, or a family skate ticket. Four runners up will also win skate tickets for two.

To enter:

Step 1 – Design and knit or crochet a stunning woolly hat, for an average adult size.

Step 2 – Submit a photograph of it, either directly to our Facebook page: Pavilion Ice Rink, by Twitter: @pavilionicerink or by email: Alisha@naturalpr.biz by the 8th November – our ice rink opening day!
