Royal Pavilion Ice Rink set for exciting new home from 2027

The Royal Pavilion Ice Rink will not take place in 2026 but we’re set to return in 2027 at a brand-new location at the very heart of Brighton. The council has been working with us to develop plans for a long-term future, with the Old Steine identified as the preferred location from 2027 onwards. 

Since ice rinks are power-hungry, we have proudly chosen not to run off diesel generators for many years now, choosing mains power and a renewable tariff instead. Unfortunately, we have been unable to locate a venue with sufficient mains electrical capacity for 2026, so we have made the difficult decision to stand the rink down for one year.

We are sad to disappoint our many loyal customers for whom the rink has become an important part of their Christmas tradition, but we’re looking forward to returning to an exciting new venue for future festive seasons.
